Three business areas and operations in 11 countries
ElektronikGruppen has approximately 15 operating subsidiaries that are organised in three business areas - Electronics, Products and Production Technology - each with a distinctive offering and business model.

All technical sales of electronic components and systems are gathered in the Electronics business area, in which activities require both in-depth technical and commercial expertise as well as reliable and efficient logistics. Operations in the Products business area are focused on development, manufacturing and sales of inductive components. The Production Technology business area sells production equipment, consumable materials, service and process training to the electronics industry.

Together, the subsidiaries have operations in 11 countries. In addition, there are distribution partnerships in some 20 additional countries where the Group has no local presence.    

 

Employees by the numbers
At 31 December 2008, the number of employees in the Group was 501. Of the total number of employees, 28 per cent, or 138 people, were employed in the Swedish operations. Outside Sweden, the highest concentrations were found in Estonia with 129 employees, Sri Lanka with 106, the UK with 36 and Finland with 34.

Of the Group's employees in 2008, 55 per cent were women, The average age in the Group was 38 years and the average term of employment was 4.7 years.
