need for investment in the Northern European market for production equipment.

The rising degree of complexity in the equipment is also increasing demand for knowledge-based services, which should benefit the business area's activities in this area.

The development of new technologies, often in combination with stricter environmental requirements, could also generate growth in the market. a few examples of areas where the emergence of new technologies has created interesting growth niches are in production of new types of solar cells, solutions for RFID communication and safety systems for the automotive industry.
